a) tell them you don’t use electricity
b) say “we’ve got all the electricity we need. we’ve ran out of places to put it”
because saying I don’t care/change on the doorstep/believe you doesn’t work.

My Approach is to announce “I already have Gas/Electricity/Windows!” etc. And to then shut the door smartly before they get over the shock.
I don’t answer the door…(pity they can see me through the window!!!)
My response is that I am not the sole householder and could not possibly make such a decision - and the other decision makers are out!
That would work. “I’m not authorised to make those sorts of decisions. You need a senior householder.”
